The Empress of the Canyons
On Friday July 6th, 2007 Canadian Pacific #2816 departed Kamloops heading towards British Columbia’s west coast. After two days of rest, the 2816 departed Port Coquitlam as she headed back to Kamloops along the same route she traveled on Friday. Elevation Media was there to take you every step of the way.
Watch as we travel along Canadian Pacific’s Cascade and Thompson Subdivisions as we follow the 2816 and her vintage train through some of British Columbia’s most diverse scenery. You'll witness stunning scenery through both the Fraser and Thompson Canyons as this beautiful steam locomotive is put to the test, but proves that she is the Empress of the Canyons.
The Empress of the Canyons DVD. Running Time 50 Minutes. Filmed and Released in 2007.
